With ALcontrols many years of experience, we see ourselves as the natural partner to meet these requirements. Microbiology
Each year approximately 500,000 people in Sweden become ill because of dangerous micro-organisms in our food. With careful monitoring of the critical steps in food production most food poisoning outbreaks can be prevented.
ALcontrol offers a broad range of accredited microbiological analyses of pathogenic bacteria and indicator bacterias, which reveals the lack of handling or storage of food. Through our many years of experience in the food area, we can help with in all stages of the analysis chain, from taking samples for analysis to evaluate the results.
Our customers include companies in the food industry, which wants to make sure that their products are good quality, and authorities, who investigates food in the public inspection.
Chemistry
More and more often, we read newspaper articles where food is designated as dangerous or likely to adversely affect the health if consumed. This may be caused by errors in the processes, the unknown effects of a process, or gaps in the chain of control. Food chemistry is complicated, but the main processes can be followed with relatively simple analysis. Nevertheless, now and then we need a little deeper knowledge to be able to choose the right analysis, interpret the results and draw the right conclusions.
ALcontrol has devoted several years to create basic skills in food chemistry, basic knowledge about our customers and their processes. From this platform, we have built the prospects of the constantly innovate and improve our analysis services in order to always have the right analysis for the right time.
