ALcontrol Laboratories Accredited in Dublin for Legionella & Microbiological Testing

1st May 2009 sees the accreditation of ALcontrol Laboratories Dublin lab for the full range of microbiological parameters including Legionella. We believe that the laboratory will be instrumental in providing the Irish market with a local laboratory which offers a one stop shop for both microbiological and chemical analysis on process and drinking waters. With a growing concern over the quality of private water supplies and with the imminent update on the Management of Legionnaires Disease in Ireland by the Health Protection Surveillance Centre(HPSC), there has been a vast increase in the number of enquiries received from our customers in the Republic of Ireland for this inclusive service.

ALcontrol Laboratories will be holding a day seminar which will cover the implications of the new guidance from the HSPC on buildings and facilities managers at the renowned Gaelic football stadium, Croke Park on the 28th May 2009. Key note speakers will be Neil Edmonds from Hydrop E.C.S and Microbiologist Richard Shephard of ALcontrol Laboratories.
