Private Water Regulations Seminars
The draft for the Private Water Supplies Regulations 2008 is now available and is planned to come into force in 2009.
The new PWS regulations will make huge differences to the way in which local authorities monitor and sample any private water supplies in their district. The new PWS regulations will require councils to carry out full risk assessments of all the private water supplies, and will subsequently lead to far greater scope of testing on both chemical & microbiological parameters.
This seminar will host renowned speakers from the industry and the laboratory. The speakers will explain the new regulations and provide practical guidance on carrying out risk assessments, the new analysis, what these results will tell you about the water supply and advice on the correct procedures for sampling, including what bottles and preservatives are required for the new parameters.
