New onsite collection initiative improves customer services
To help us reach our goal of world-class laboratory and customer services, we have partnered with one of Europe’s leading specialised logistics companies.
Our new service partner will provide full coverage of the UK and Ireland, with collection vehicles driven by fully trained logistics technicians.
Each technician will carry spare collection boxes and chill packs, so they will ensure all samples are correctly packed, preventing breakages while maintaining samples at a constant temperature during transit.
Technicians will scan samples on site, using our innovative @mis scheduling and reporting system, so that every batch is logged ready for processing as soon as it is received.
Bespoke Sampling
The new sample collection arrangements will enable us to offer both bespoke and specialised sample facilities. We’ll also be implementing a programme of carbon offsetting to minimise our carbon footprint as part of our ISO14001 accreditation.
The new services will help customers reduce the time required from initial sampling to final reporting, and enhance the efficiency and simplicity with which samples can be collected and scheduled.
Ultimately, we believe that the new dedicated services will provide real and quantifiable benefits, in terms of improved response, productivity and profitability for all customers.
