ALcontrol Waters use their own fleet of refrigerated vans to cover the UK, ensuring that your temperature-controlled samples will be delivered to the nearest appropriate ALcontrol laboratory within 24 hours. ALcontrol also have several sample drop-off locations which our fleet drop into daily to collect samples from.
Whether you use our refrigerated vans to pick up at your site or our drop-off points, or make use of our 3rd party couriers, we are confident that we have a service which meets our customers needs.
Same Day Refrigerated Courier
The preferred option for time-critical analyses. This is the only way to guarantee that your samples reach us as quickly and securely as is reasonably possible. The service is provided either by our own in-house couriers or by a third party firm contracted to collect your samples and deliver them back to our laboratory that day.

Speed- Same day couriers can collect your samples and drive directly to our laboratory.
Flexibility- Arrangements can be made for collections 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our same day courier can deliver bottles, wait for you to sample then deliver your samples to the laboratory.
Full Chain of Custody- Samples are transported from you to us by the one person giving an assured chain of custody.
Rendezvous- Same day couriers are in a position to call you when they are close to your site for further instructions or to arrange a rendezvous. This is especially useful for the collection of samples from sites where there is no permanent building in which a courier can easily locate your samples.
