Quality Assurance

Air quality standards in the 21st century are incredibly demanding, industrial site operators are often having to meet release levels which are orders of magnitude lower than their predecessors faced. With a total commitment to quality standards, allied with the experience that comes from many years of working with the Environment Agency, ALcontrol's clients can have complete confidence to act when they receive their testing results, naturally a critical factor when regulatory compliance is at stake.

ALcontrol can provide the following elements to assure service quality:

  • UKAS (ISO 17025) accredited for sampling and analysis.
  • MCERTS accredited for sampling and analysis.
  • STA (Source Testing Association) endorsed.
  • Rigorous health, safety and environmental standards including ISO 14001.
  • Monitoring carried our to CEN, ISO, BS and USEPA methodologies- the highest industry standards.

Interpretations

UKAS:

UKAS is recognised as the national body responsible for assessing and accrediting the competence of organisations in the fields of calibration, testing and certification of systems, products and personnel.

MCERTS:

Our emissions monitoring service is accredited to the Environment Agency's monitoring certification scheme (MCERTS). All our Staff are part of the MCERTS scheme and we only employ staff with the correct level of training, plus the relevant technical endorsements, for completion of emission monitoring works. These qualifications have to be revisited periodically, which ALcontrol fully supports in its search for quality excellence.
